Ocean Adventures prides itself on offering personal and expert service at very competitive prices.
Please call us on 01254 826116 (from outside the UK: +44 1254 826116) and speak to one of our experts about any aspect of a cruise that you are interested in. We will be very happy to talk with you.

Ocean Adventures is a division of Birdquest Ltd, which was founded in 1981 and is based in Lancashire, United Kingdom. Birdquest is one of the world's top wildlife tour companies and, as well as specializing in worldwide land-based tours, we have been operating ship-based holidays to some of the world's most remote regions since 1985.

Ocean Adventures, as the name implies, specializes in ship-based holidays worldwide (though largely in the polar regions) with an emphasis on wildlife, dramatic scenery and the history of exploration. We work with some of the world's top specialist cruise operators in whom we have complete confidence. Book a holiday through us and we are sure that you will have an unforgettable experience, be it to the dramatic Arctic, the indescribable Antarctic, the exciting islands of the Atlantic and Pacific, the fantastic Galapagos Islands, Darwin's evolutionary laboratory, or in other far-flung regions of our wonderful planet.

Our Ocean Adventures group tours are unique as they offer an opportunity to visit some wonderful locations along with a group of like-minded individuals whilst being accompanied by one of our internationally respected guides. Regular destinations include Antarctica, The Falklands & South Georgia, The Subantarctic Islands of Australia and New Zealand, Spitsbergen, The Kurils, The Commanders & Kamchatka, French Polynesia, Pitcairn & Henderson, The Galapagos and the epic Atlantic Odyssey (Tierra del Fuego to the Cape Verde Islands by way of Antarctica, the Tristan group, St Helena and Ascension!).

Alternatively, you can book through us any individual Antarctic cruise, Subantarctic cruise, Arctic cruise, Atlantic Islands cruise, West Pacific Odyssey cruise or other cruise holiday offered by the companies that we represent. Why should you book such a holiday through us rather than direct? The reasons are simple: we offer a very personalized service, yet it will cost you no more, and, as you can pay us in Pounds Sterling rather than US Dollars or Euros, probably considerably less than booking the holiday directly with the cruise operator, and we can also arrange your air travel from and back to the United Kingdom (or anywhere else in the world), make your hotel bookings and arrange other services. And if you book a holiday originating in the United Kingdom, you can do so with complete peace of mind as Birdquest is a government licensed and fully bonded tour operator (ATOL 2937).

This website has full details of our forthcoming Ocean Adventures group tours as well as all cruises available for individual bookings operated by the companies for whom we act as agents. It also has a selection of trip reports from previous cruises. Take a look and see for yourself what we have to offer! Further information about the nature of our tours, the biographies of our leaders and much more can be found by clicking on the News button.

If a particular cruise interests you, please contact us and check on availability. Once we have confirmed that space is available in your desired cabin category, and if you decide to go ahead, you may either confirm your booking by completing and sending us the on-line booking form or you may download, print out, complete and post to us the PDF booking form. Deposit rates and all other important details are given in our Booking Conditions.

IMPORTANT: Adventure cruises to the Antarctic, the Arctic and other remote regions are very special holidays and the more popular cruises tend to get booked up far ahead of departure. If you are thinking of taking such a cruise it is best to plan on booking at least 12 months before departure, and preferably earlier, otherwise you may find the particular cruise and cabin category you hoped for has already been sold out. If you are unable to book so far in advance then there is still a good chance we will be able to find space for you, but you may have to be flexible as regards the particular cruise, the dates and the cabin category.

Thank you, and we hope to welcome you on one of our cruises.
